Dr. Jitesh Patel has been working as a general dentist since graduating from McGill University in 2015. In addition to owning his own dental clinic, he is practicing mobile geriatric dentistry at various nursing homes around the city of Montreal. He also works as a clinical instructor for the Faculty of Dentistry in the Oral Diagnostic Clinic and the Mobile Dental and the Community Outreach Program at McGill where he supervises dental students. Before practicing dentistry, Dr. Patel worked as an engineer for 17 years for Ericsson Canada Inc and several other companies in different cities. After many successful years in electrical engineering, Dr. Patel was looking for a way to make a difference in other people’s lives. He started by volunteering as a math tutor and decided to further hone his skills by completing a Masters in Teaching Mathematics at Concordia University in 2008. That is where he learned unique teaching strategies to effectively engage students and foster a fun and fascinating learning environment. Dr. Patel believes in helping others and strives to improve access to oral health care by offering dental services to immobile patients.
